TO THE NEW SOUTH WALES CASINO CONTROL AUTHORITY Introduction I am pleased to make this submission on behalf of the NSW Opposition in response to the statutory obligation imposed under Section 31 of the Casino Control Act 1992. The published Terms of Reference focuses the investigation on two aspects: a) the suitability. New South Wales Casino Control Amendment Bill 2000 Act No, 2000 An Act to amend the Casino Control Act 1992 so as to make further provision with respect to the objects and the membership qualifications of the Casino Control Authority, and with respect to the self-exclusion of persons from a casino.

Authority
  1. Every three years, the Casino Control Authority is required by s.31 of the Casino Control Act 1992 to investigate and form an opinion as to whether or not the casino operator is a suitable person to continue to give effect to the casino licence and whether it is in the public interest that the casino licence should continue in force.
  2. The name Liquor and Gaming New South Wales will be used when referring to any future responsibilities which may result from the recommendations. Finally, the Casino Control Act is the name given to comparable legislation in many jurisdictions. This Review uses the name Casino Control Act specifically to refer to the New South Wales.
  3. The New South Wales Casino Control Authority was established on 23 September 1992 by the Casino Control Act 1992.

New South Wales Casino Control Authority Vacancies

** Active cases are locally acquired COVID-19 cases with onset in the last four weeks. This is based on the date the person first developed symptoms. When no date of symptom onset is available (it is either under investigation by public health staff or the person tested positive without showing symptoms), the date of the positive test is used. Infections are not always acquired in the place of residence as people often travel outside their area for many reasons (e.g. work, school and shopping).
***The heatmap excludes 189 cases in crew members who tested positive while on board a ship docked in NSW at the time of diagnosis.
